    At Christie`s, the Hungarian restaurant on Aron Florian Street time seems to have been frozen in a sepia snapshot from before World War II. When you have walked through the wrought iron gate, you step into the Bucharest of yore, into an old boyar`s house wrapped up in an atmosphere of  rest and stability. 

    To some this Hungarian restaurant may look old-fashioned or obsolete, slightly melancholy like the houses of wealthy elderly people in old times.

    But you will certainly wish to return to our restaurant again, attracted by the hand-painted dishes, the high quality background music, the elegant, discreet and unostentatious service reminiscent of Hapsburg residences, and last, but not least, by the genuinely Hungarian courses (defiant of depressions of all sorts) prepared by the only Budapest chef in Bucharest.
